Kyle MacDonald started with one red paper clip and is doing a series of trades with the goal of making a final trade for a house. He traded the paper clip for a pen, the pen for a door knob, the door knob for a Coleman stove, and the trades continue. To find out more visit One Red Paper Clip.

The real attraction (and the reason he can pull it off — he’s already up to a year’s rent in a house in Phoenix) is his writing style.
