101 Ways to Make Money Online

Tuesday February 20, 2007
Even though this site is about freebies, not "how to make money at home," I still get a lot of people asking me just that question. My usual answer to look for a service that people want or need and that you enjoy. I also tell them to avoid any offers that come by unsolicited email or that they see in advertisements. They are almost always scams.

A company in the UK called "Experienced People" has created a list of 101 suggestions for making money online and at home. Some are them are done tung-in-cheek, some may be impractical or even illegal, but then again there are some that may spark an idea for a real way to make money at home. There is no magic bullet here that will make you rich, but it is worth reading if you are on the lookout for money making ideas.

I found a newer site, a bit controversial as some of the money making opportunities are based on extremely sensative and sometimes upsetting issues, however, using the tehniques found of http://www.googletrend.info , you really can earn a living online.

It does take some time though as I have found out, took about 6 months before my sites hit the market allowing me to earn money online using the worlds interests. Some of the money making opportunities listed were actually extremely upsetting, but truthful. Such as chris benoit death, which is listed on the site as a really good money making niche. I am not sure if that is legal

The website offered by About provide many avenues for making money online, but one will have to be very careful about some of those techniques. The sound ideas coupled with the ones at http://www.cleverwaystomakemoneyonline.com , you would be sure to find many more ideas you can work with in your quest to financial freedom.

Hello Lee,

Having read through the entire list, I would say that most of the entries are tongue-in-cheek and therefore not a particularly good source of information for serious business opportunity seekers.

For example, “Write an ebook. It’s as easy as falling off a chair” or “Affiliate programs can be great fun and very lucrative. The trick is learning to generate traffic, funnelling it to your merchant and hiring expensive accountants to handle your massive tax returns”.

Both are completely ridiculous statements and offer no insight into how the real business works.

Too, nowhere on the page is there a name of the person who wrote this piece or a way to contact them. That in itself, should be sufficient reason for a serious opportunity seeker NOT to spend valuable time evaluating the contents.
