Free Office Software Online and Offline

I practically live online, but even though I spend most of my waking hours connected to the Internet, I'm still not ready to give up my locally installed word processor and spreadsheet programs for online versions.

However, if I could have the convenience, flexibility, and speed of local applications along with the collaboration and document sharing features of online applications, and have it all for free, that would be a different story.
