Free and Easy Quilt Patterns

Tuesday May 1, 2007
Believe it or not, I completed a few sewing projects in my younger years. One project was a corduroy jacket that came out quite well and that I wore until the fabric wore out. However, I don't think I have the patience to make something as large as a quilt. Then again, who knows, perhaps after I retire and life slows down, I might just give it a try.

If you are a quilter, or are thinking about becoming one, you will want to to check out these free quilt patterns from Janet Wickell, our Guide to Quilting.

Lee, I would not be surprised if you end up making not only one quilt but several! I use to sell sewing machines. I sold a lot of machines to men. They are really good at quilting, I think its the math that is involved. I never sold a machine to a guy that he didn’t tell me his mother always let him use her sewing machine when he was a kid. Good luck, Bev in Oregon
