Free Jiffy Mix Recipe Book - Oldie but Goodie

Monday November 5, 2007
The one major problem with free offers is that the good ones are never available for very long. That situation leads to headaches for those of us who list the free offers and disappointment for those looking for free offers and only finding the listing after the free offer is gone. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do about the situation other than checking frequently for new offers hoping to be among the lucky ones that get the offers before they disappear.

The above is the general "rule" for freebies, but there are some free offers that break the rule. The lifetimes of most free offers can be measured in weeks, days, or even hours, but there are a few that have survived to become the grandpas of free offers. One such offer is the free Jiffy Mix recipe book offer which has been available since at least 1997 when I first found it. If you have never requested this offer, now is the time to get your copy. It is hard to say if it will still be around in another ten years.

This is a wonderful cookbook full of great recipes. I live not far from the Jiffy factory and they give free tours of the place if you are ever in Michigan. At the end of the tour, they use to give you a small box of cake mix. Don’t know if they still do.

I have had this book for years, and it always comes out for camping and holidays. I didn’t know it was still available. Get it while you can!
