Consumer Search.com - Reviewing the Reviewers

I wouldn't consider buying anything even moderately expensive without searching the Web for reviews. Unfortunately, that has become a much more difficult task with the number of not so useful sites that come up when you search for product reviews. If I'm very lucky I'll find a credible "professional" review or at least a large number of consumer reviews. Finding only a couple consumer reviews is not very helpful most of the time.

It so happens that About.com now has a site that aggregates reviews and tries to assess the quality of the reviews and summarizes them. This can make it much easier to get a good view of a product or product category. Check out Consumer Search.com. This is one that is worth bookmarking for the next time you want to look for product reveiws.
