Travel The World For Free?

I encountered an interesting article which presents the notion that you can travel the World at very little or no cost. The basic premise is that people will offer travelers food and lodging either just for the pleasure of meeting new people or in exchange for some chores.

The concept of free World travel requires a little more adventurous spirit than I have at this point in my life, but for those of you who can cut free of the mundane it might be just the ticket so to speak.
