Free Telephone Reminders

Have you given up on using email reminder services and calenders because you forget to check them? You need the free services offered by iPING. You don't have to remember to do any checking because iPING's services are delivered by telephone or pager.
Their first service is called Mr. WakeUp. This innovative free service allows you to go to their site and schedule wake up calls. You can set them to execute just once or to repeat for up to four months. You have your choice of information to be delivered with your wakeup call. You can wake up to business news, headline news, comedy, horoscopes, fitness tips, or your own recorded message. They offer a text to speech option, but I found that to be of poor quality and difficult to understand.
The other services work in a very similar manor to Mr. WakeUp and all of them can be accessed once you register with iPing.com. They use a plus or minus five minutes standard for the service, so if it is important that you receive your call by a particular time it is a good idea to schedule it for five minutes in advance.
Ms. Reminder can be used just like the email reminder services you have probably seen in the past, but instead of email you get a phone call to jog your memory. This is great for those of us that have a habit of forgetting birthdays and anniversaries or dentist appointments.
One of the very useful services for those who organize parties and gatherings is Mr. Notify. You can setup groups of up to ten people and use the service to send out invitations or reminders. There is an RSVP feature that allows you to request a response and then you can check to see who is attending. If you need to cancel or change things at the last minute, you can do so quickly and easily and avoid making individual calls.
If you send a lot of UPS or Federal Express packages you are going to love Ms. Followup. You can use the service to track your packages. You are notified by phone or pager when they are delivered. iPING plans to have add other types of tracking later.
Have trouble remembering what medications to take when? Dr. Dose is has just the prescription for you. You can enter your medication schedule and receive notifications every time it is time to take your meds.
