2. BurdaStyle

BurdaStyle has free sewing patterns that are uploaded by visitors. These free patterns are mostly for garments but you'll also find free sewing patterns for gift and home items.

You'll need to become a member at BurdaStyle in order to be able to download any of the free sewing patterns, but membership is free. All projects are downloaded as a PDF that can be viewed on your computer or printed.

The instructions are easy to understand and each picture does a great job of guiding you through your project.
