How to get the free subscription:
Visit the Pregnancy section of Parenting.com and click on the Babytalk free subscription link. You need to fill out a short mailing information form. Be sure to enter your first and last names in the name field. When I was testing the form I kept entering my first name in the name field and my last name in the adjacent field and could not understand why it would not work. I guess I'm too accustomed to first and last name fields.

What are the risks in requesting this offer?:
You can check the box to not receive future email, but I would still use a junk email account. Magazine publishers routinely sell their subscriber lists so you can probably expect baby related postal mailings . Be careful not to confuse this offer with the free trial for Parenting magazine which they are likely to offer. The Babytalk subscription is free and you will not be billed but the Parenting magazine offer is a trial for which you will get an invoice.
