Assembler and Assembler 2 Free Flash Puzzle Games

Precision crate stacking at its finest

From Lee Seats, for About.com

I tried the first Assembler game days after it was published and was ready to post it as a great time waster. However, I finished the game and found there were only 18 levels and only one of them was at all difficult. It was a great concept and well executed for what was there, but it was little more than a hand holding tutorial. Almost all the levels were trivial to solve. I decided to wait to post it to see if the author would add more levels to make it a more complete time wasting game.

I only had to wait about a month and the second version of the game appeared. My only complaint about the second version is that the creator swung things a little too far the other way. Many of the levels in the new version are very hard. However, if you go ahead and play through the first version of Assembler you will be more prepared for Assembler 2. I think you will agree that 17 year old Bryce Summer has a very promising game making career ahead of him.

The goal in each level of both games is to get the green crate (or crates) to line up with the green square on the wall. You will find that you will need to be creative on the more difficult levels to accomplish your goal.
