You get nine lives for the game. You need to clear all the asteroids without loosing all of your lives. There are power-ups that you can fly over to upgrade weapon and improve your ship's health. The game play is smooth and engaging. However, the sound effects are terrible and I'd recommend turning them off. The game indicates that it has music, but I didn't hear any. The game still makes for a fun mindless time waster and that is what matters.
