Light-Bot - Addicting Flash Puzzle Game

Program the Light-Bot with point and click commands

From Lee Seats, for About.com

Even if you can't program a TV recording device, you can create programs in free flash game Light-Bot. You choose to move the Light-Bot forward, turn left or right, jump, and turn on the light by dragging and dropping the icons in the correct order. This forces you tho think ahead. Once you have finished setting up the instructions you click "go" and the Light-Bot follows your commands. The goal is the light the blue squares with the fewest program steps.

It took me a while to figure out which arrow turned the bot the way I wanted it to turn. You have two "functions" you can use for repetitive tasks. Say you know your bot will need to turn right and walk three steps at three different points in the program. You can program those moves into a function and use the function three times in your main program.

How about that! You have fun, exercise your mind, and learn programming logic at the same time. And you thought you were just wasting time!
