FIRE, the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education offers assistance to students and faculty whose legal rights are threatened by university abuse of power.

In addition to advising individual cases, FIRE also offers a number of free guides to help in understanding your rights. Printed copies may be ordered for free by students. Anyone may download PDF versions of the guides.
