Sneakemail - A More Sophisticated Junk Email Account

How do I use this free service?:
Unlike Mailinator which I reviewed previously, you need to register for the Sneakemail service. Visit Sneakemail and click on the quick start link then click on the create new account link. Enter a username, password, and a current email address to get your messages. You can also enter a phrase to be used as a from name for outgoing messages.

How does the Sneakemail service work?:
You can create up to nine unique address to use when filling out registrations. Email to these addresses is forwarded to the account you indicated. You can reply to the forwarded messages and they are processed by Sneakemail and show only the Sneakemail address, thus completely hiding your real email address. If you start getting spam at one of your Sneakemail addresses you can either filter it, disable it, or delete it completely.

Will they nag me to register for a paid account?:
Yes, they offer an enhanced service and they will remind you about it fairly often. You can always choose to ignore their reminders. I feel the value of the free service is worth a little nagging.

What are the risks in in using this free junk email service?:
I don't see any significant risks to the service. They have a very brief privacy policy that states they will not share your information unless required by law. If you are really paranoid you could always create a fresh traditional free account and use that to receive your Sneakemail messages.
