Free Yidio TV Shows and Movies

Yidio is a unique movie streaming website because it works like a search engine that helps you find where you can watch free movies online. Its discovery feature finds content from Amazon Prime, Hulu, Netflix, and many other free and paid services. You can also use Yidio to find free TV shows.

The Hangover, Good Burger, Apocalypto, The Passion of the Christ, The Visit, Need for Speed, The Lovely Bones, and Left Behind were just some of the free movies we were able to catch the last time we visited Yidio.

There are multiple ways to find free movies here, so you shouldn't have any problem deciding what to watch next.

For one, Yidio categorizes its films into over 30 genres like Comedy, Sports & Fitness, Western, Eastern, Classics, TV Movie, Horror, Drama, Kids & Family, Documentary, and Action. You can also filter movies by their MPAA rating (NR, R, PG-13, etc.), IMDb score, and release date. If those filters aren't enough, you can sort the results, too, by popularity or recently added.

You can see it's really easy to find free movies with Yidio.

In addition to hosting movies on its own website, Yidio shows free films hosted elsewhere, like on Tubi, The Roku Channel, Pluto TV, Crackle, Plex, Vudu, Freevee, Popcornflix, and several others. However, some movies are only available through a movie streaming service that you have to pay for, like Netflix, YouTube, Amazon, and Google Play.

A few TV series we've been able to watch at Yidio include The Chosen, Riverdale, Legacies, Supernatural, Grey's Anatomy, The Flash, Law & Order: SVU, The Blacklist, This Is Us, South Park, Sistas, The Oval, A New Leaf, and Rainbow Ruby.

Similar to when using Yidio to find free movies, you can browse free shows by source (e.g., ABC or Cartoon Network), title, and genre. They can also be sorted by popularity or recently added.

You can also find free TV shows online via the Network section. This lets you filter by the channel they aired on, like Disney, Bravo, Animal Planet, Adult Swim, HGTV, and many others.

Not every episode of a show is necessarily available for free, but you can filter the results to show just the free TV shows offered by Yidio and other sources. Once you're on the TV series page, you'll find a checkbox called Free that, when checked, will show all the episodes you can watch with ads.

Yidio’s Video Quality

Most videos found through Yidio are of DVD quality. However, your experience will depend on your own internet speed as well as which website you ultimately land on for the actual stream.

In our experience, we didn't run into any buffering issues or slow video loads.

Benefits of Registering With Yidio

If you create a free Yidio account for email alerts pertaining to movies and shows you add to your favorites list. Custom options are available to trigger notifications when new episodes air and/or are available online, a news story is released, and/or when new clips become available.

You can also use your account to add movies and TV shows to a queue and then refer to it later to watch them all in one place.

Making an account also lets you subscribe to Yidio Premium to remove ads and get real-time alerts and reminders, plus premium channels.

Something to keep in mind is that because many of the videos are hosted on other websites, you'll most likely also end up installing apps that belong to other services, such as Vudu's or Tubi's app.
