Both free Alaska travel guides are provided by the Alaska Travel Industry Association in Anchorage Alaska.
How much effort is required to request the offer?:
The Travel Alaska guide request uses a very simple form that does not require an email address or phone number. The North to Alaska magazine offer does require and email address and asks about a dozen questions to determine what other information you would be interested in receiving.
What is the likelihood the offer will arrive?:
I would anticipate that both offers will arrive. In my experience, travel industry associations are very reliable in providing requested offers.
What are the risks in requesting the offer?:
I would not expect any unwanted email or postal mail from these offers. If you indicate interest in additional information with the North to Alaska form you may get a fair amount of email. You can use a junk email account if you wish.
